Drumroll, please! The Pantone Color Institute has unveiled the Color of the Year for 2017, and it’s none other than Pantone 15-0343, better known as “Greenery.” This color is symbolic of new beginnings, as stated by Leatrice Wiseman, the executive director of the Pantone Color Institute: “Greenery bursts forth in 2017 to provide us with the reassurance we yearn for amid a tumultuous social and political environment. Satisfying our growing desire to rejuvenate and revitalize, Greenery symbolizes the reconnection we seek with nature, one another, and a larger purpose.”
This vibrant hue is anticipated to make a significant impact in the realms of fashion and design, having already graced the spring 2017 collections of Balenciaga, Max Mara, Pucci, Michael Kors, and Kenzo.
