Nicki Minaj adorns the latest cover of Black Book magazine, captured through the lens of Andrew MacPherson. In the editorial titled “The Meteoric Rise of Nicki Minaj,” the 26-year-old rapper showcases vibrant makeup and 70s-style dresses curated by stylist Brett Bailey. When asked about comparisons to Lady Gaga, she shares her thoughts with Black Book
“We both do the awkward, non-pretty thing,” she says. “What we’re saying—what I’m saying, anyway—is that it’s okay to be weird. And maybe your weird is my normal. Who’s to say? I think it’s an attitude we both share.”
