Louis Vuitton bids a poignant farewell to Marc Jacobs’ era with a breathtaking new campaign. Shot by Steven Meisel in a New York studio, the Spring-Summer 2014 campaign showcases six of Jacobs’ muses: Catherine Deneuve, Sofia Coppola, Gisele Bündchen, Fan Bingbing, Caroline de Maigret, and Edie Campbell.
“It’s not a melancholic campaign,” Frédéric Winckler, Vuitton’s communications and events director, told WWD. “It’s really celebrating women who inspire Marc.”
The Marni for H&M campaign offers a first glimpse at the collection’s vibrant styles. Featuring models Imogen Poots, Sam Hayes, Antonine Peduzzi, Nicolas Peduzzi, Annabelle Dexter Jones, Charlie Klarsfeld, Liu Wen, and Jonatan Frenck, alongside actor Langley Fox, the campaign was captured by Academy Award and Golden Globe winner Sofia Coppola in Marrakech, Morocco.
