It’s official: Riccardo Tisci assumed the role of Chief Creative Officer at Burberry, effective March 12. A graduate of Central Saint Martins in London, Tisci follows in the footsteps of Christopher Bailey, who held the reins of the British brand for 17 years.
“I am honoured and delighted to be joining Burberry as its new Chief Creative Officer and reuniting with Marco Gobbetti,” Tisci said in a statement. “I have an enormous respect for Burberry’s British heritage and global appeal and I am excited about the potential of this exceptional brand.”
