Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski Confirmed As New Designer At Hermès

It’s official: Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski is the new artistic director for womens ready-to-wear at Hermès. Graduated from the prestigious Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, the 36-year-old French designer has worked previously for Maison Martin Margiela, The Row and Céline.

Metamorphosis by Julien Vallée for Hermès

French fashion house Hermès released this captivating video entitled ‘Metamorphosis’. Directed by Canadian graphic designer and director Julien Vallée, the video reveals some of the brand’s newest pieces in a jungle setting.

Hermès Presents Festival des Métiers at Saatchi Gallery, London

Parisian luxury goods brand Hermès announces the arrival of Festival des Métiers at Saatchi Gallery, London. The exhibition is presented in a contemporary setting by acclaimed designer Paola Navone.

“Festival des Métiers unlocks the poetic and unique crafts that are the essence of the house of Hermès, as their craftspeople reveal the mastery of their métiers. Visitors will see the famous Hermès silk scarf printed before their eyes and to rhythmic sounds of the artisans’ tools, handbags, watches, fine-jewellery and other iconic objects from Hermès will be brought to life during the course of the exhibition.”


Admission to Festival des Métiers is free and open to the public from 22 May – 28 May 2013 (10am – 6pm Daily) at the Saatchi Gallery: Duke of York’s HQ, King’s Road, Chelsea, London SW3 4RY. Visit the Saatchi Gallery website for more info.

Video: “Petit H” by Hérmes

Mary Clerté & Edouard Bertrand created this new advertising campaign for Hermès to promote the new “Petit H“ collection. Animated by Victor Haegelin the video sees pieces such as the famous Kelly bag become a wall clock, thanks to an upcycling initiative. Petit h, the Hermès atelier of re-creation will bring its special travelling sale at the Hermes Kurfurstendamm Store, Berlin from 24 April – 12 May 2012.
