The Chanel Cruise 2012 collection was unveiled yesterday in France at the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Cap d’Antibes. ‘This is a modern version of sophisticated dressing,’ explained Chanel’s creative director, Karl Lagerfeld, in an interview with WWD. ‘Cruise is always about going away.‘ The lookbook, shot in black and white, features models Saskia de Brauw and Baptiste Giabiconi and was photographed by Karl Lagerfeld himself.
