Balenciaga, the renowned luxury fashion brand, introduced its latest creation – the Balenciaga Arena Extra-Large Shopper Tote Bag, with a price tag of $2,150. Interestingly, this bag drew attention for its uncanny resemblance to IKEA’s iconic Frakta bag. In a lighthearted response, Ikea showcased its sense of humor by releasing an advertisement providing guidance on distinguishing the original from the ‘copy.’

Demna Gvasalia Is The New Creative Director of Balenciaga

Following the departure of Alexander Wang, Balenciaga has appointed Demna Gvasalia as the new creative director. The 34-year-old Georgian designer graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Antwerp and is the founder of provocative Parisian label Vetements.

“I am very pleased to welcome Demna Gvasalia as the artistic director of Balenciaga’s collections. He has quickly emerged as the best choice for the new artistic direction of the maison.
