It’s a tragic day for the world of fashion. Brilliant and controversial British fashion designer Alexander McQueen was found dead at his London home on Thursday morning (February 11) after taking his own life.The Daily Mail is reporting the designer, whose mother died just a few days ago, was found dead in his central London apartment and it is believed that he hung himself.I’m just speechless..I have no words to describe it. He was one of the most creative spirits in fashion and I can’t believe he is gone. This is a dark day in fashion.RIP Alexander McQueen

Haha, that catsuit on the back of the zebra looks amaaaazing. The video was directed by Melina Matsoukas, who also directed the video for ‘Hard’ , and scheduled to be premiered this coming Thursday, February 11.

Her ensemble was accessorized with a unique star piece, adding an extra touch of drama to her look. While I appreciate her overall style, the bright yellow Barbie-inspired hair is not my favorite. G-Star have unveiled a new ad campaign for Spring/Summer 2010 fronted by Liv Tyler. When Shubhankar Ray, G-Star Creative Brand Director, was asked why Liv Tyler, he said, “She’s a strong, beautiful and independent woman. We believe that Liv has a level of sensuality and this is very important for how we want to position G-Star within the women’s context.” The Dutch denim brand plan to expand from 12 stores to 50 stores in the U.S.The campaign, photographed by Anton Corbijn, will hit the magazines next month.
