Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld unveiled his Byzantine inspired Pre-Fall 2011 collection yesterday in Paris. Karl Lagerfeld said was inspired by the Empress Theodora and the lost culture of Byzantium, and the collection is full of beading, rich jewel tones, and plenty of gilded pleasures . I love the collection. Uncle Karl, I take my hat off to you!
